Program Description
Wrocław Medical University offers a 6-month Practical Training program for graduates of the English-language Medicine program at the Wrocław Medical University of the Piasts of Silesia.. The program is carried out at the University Clinical Hospital named after J. Mikulicz-Radecki in Wrocław. The training begins on March 1, 2025.
Requirements
- The practical training must be completed no later than 2 years after obtaining the medical degree.
- Referral for occupational medicine tests:
Each participant will receive a referral for occupational medicine tests, where they must present: - Sanitary-epidemiological certificate (Salmonella and Shigella),
- Proof of vaccination against Hepatitis B (HBV) and Covid 19.
- Insurance:
Each participant must sign a civil liability (OC) and accident (NWW) insurance contract, which also covers post-exposure treatment (HIV, HBV, and HCV). - Medical test costs:
The participant is responsible for covering the cost of medical tests.
Cost of Participation
The cost of participation in the training is 45,000 PLN per person for the entire 6-month program.
Documents Required Before the Training Starts
- A medical certificate stating there are no health contraindications for attending the practical training.
- A sanitary-epidemiological certificate (Salmonella and Shigella).
- Proof of civil liability (OC) and accident (NWW) insurance.
- Proof of vaccination against Hepatitis B (HBV) and Covid 19.
- Diploma of graduation.
- Agreement for completing the practical training with the Medical University of Wrocław.
- Payment confirmation for the practical training.
Recognition of Postgraduate Internship
After completing the training, participants can apply to the Minister of Health for the recognition of their postgraduate internship. The application should be submitted based on the certificate issued by the healthcare provider and the Medical University. The application must be submitted within 3 months of completing the practical training.
